Pedro N. Acha Award for Veterinary Public Health

Call for Nominations 2007

The Pan American Health and Education Foundation is accepting nominations for the Pedro N. Acha Award for Veterinary Public Health. This award is part of The Awards for Excellence in Inter-American Public Health Program, a partnership between the Foundation and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).

The Acha award recognizes outstanding research by an undergraduate student in veterinary public health within the last three years. It also encourages dedication to highest standards of study and professionalism.

The winner is recognized with a certificate of honor and a check of US $1,500. The foundation advises nominees to carefully read and follow the guidelines. Nomination must be received no later than 31 May 2007.
